The last uni assignment.
Personally I feel that I didn't get anywhere near the core of James Jean's "style" (as expected), but I learnt some practical things and scored a 7 (out of 7) for the subject so I'm not disappointed.

I'm researching James Jean for my final graphic design assignment. I have to make something that builds on his style and I'm shitting myself right now because my pencil work is so rusty and the assessed "interim" is in two days. I don't know why I had to choose an awesome illustrator. Oh that's right, I thought I might actually learn something. Ha.
I came here to post "NEAL ADAMS: Uncensored, Uncut, Untouchable", which I found while straying from a James Jean interview. This is for anyone who has ever wanted to live off art/illustration. |

It's a pretty big bandwagon so it was hard to miss - the draw yourself as a teen meme.
I went all the way back to 13. From there on I just moved steadily towards "normal" - not very exciting.
